Homelessness in Ireland

Educational Resources on Homelessness

Take Action

At Peter McVerry Trust, we know and appreciate the difference your help can make to those on the margins of our communities and society.

By taking the time to get involved in our fundraising appeals and events you can help us respond with dynamic and rapid solutions to the needs of people impacted by homelessness.

Don’t forget, the charity's Fundraising Team can also support you in organising your own fundraising event. Just contact us by email at fundraising@pmvtrust.ie or call 01 823 0776 to tell us about your ideas.

School Talks

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, a member of our team would be happy to virtually visit your school to speak to students and teachers about the work of Peter McVerry Trust, and the kinds of support we provide for people who need it.

While the pandemic is ongoing, our school talks will be delivered through a pre-recorded video and a subsequent live Q&A where students can pose questions to our team through Skype.

The information provided can support students with projects or subject requirements they have, while also informing the student body of the reality of homelessness. With more and more children of school-going age experiencing homelessness, our school talks can help other students be more empathetic towards their fellow students.
